<<<<<<< HEAD Because of the hex placed on the party, they were forced to seek out the Sheriff, who they found out was aptly named ‘Richard (Dick)‘. From the locals they found out that he had a small settlement in the nearby ruined city of Buildersreach, so they struck out into the wilderness, and after finding themselves surrounded in a ravine, they were escorted to Buildersreach. Here they met Richard, who challenged them to a fight in their arena, a large circular area of the town with a void fracture in the middle, that slowly pulled in anything that got too close. While preparing for the fight, Aurum managed to sneak out of the town with some deception, and encountered a lone mutated creature similar to a horse-sized rat called a Slink. Back in the settlement, the fight raged on, with most people getting taken into the void sphere until it was between Abe and Dick, but it was just too much, and in a final bout, they were both sucked into the void. Shortly after, the party -minus Aurum- awoke in a large room, a bed in one corner and various furniture items situated around the room. One of the walls of the room was a large open window, overlooking nothingness, no stars of planets, except a large golden structure, hundreds of miles tall with coaxial rings circling a central rod. Each ring housing small cities and expanses of wilderness on them. Standing in front of the window, overlooking the scene before them was a humanoid with dark blue-black skin, and piercing golden eyes as if the structure he was looking at was reflecting off of them. This creature then said that it was too early to be here, only addressing Creed, before waving his hand and the party was transported back to the arena, to a scene of chaos. Aurum had talked the Slink they had found into storming the settlement, and after amassing a horde of its kind, they had broken through the gates and were running amok within the town. After calming down the creatures, due to killing Dick, the group were given control of the village, such that they now have a base to return to.
